8U Futures - Beginner 8U Travel Team Tryouts - Sunday 5/21

Miss Scotties Softball would like to put together an 8U travel team for this summer to join the Hudson Mohawk Travel League. This would be for girls with birth years 2014 and 2015 who would like to continue playing through the summer with a bit more intensity than the Rec league. We will have practices throughout the season, and a total of 12 games along with at least 1 tournament. The league runs from June 12 through July 28. Travel season is a commitment made by coaches, players and their families. You are expected to attend the majority of practices and games. Tryouts for this team will be held on May 21 at 11:00 at the Luther Forest Athletic fields, field 2.Please bring gloves, bats, helmets, fielding masks. We are looking for at least 2 assistant coaches for the team as well, so if interested in coaching please let us know at tryouts or before. The cost for the summer season will be divided equally among the total number of players committed. Uniforms are provided at no cost for this 1 season. It is approximately $40-50/player.
